Sepia - Splintered
After a long time of silence Wire Productions (the label known for NOISE PROCESS, BIO-TEK, E.S.R., MASTERTUNE) returns with a new release. The sound of THE SEPIA is a mix of different styles like Industrial, Electro, and Techno. The three core members of THE SEPIA, Jules Seifert, Jim Smith and Kate Rhodes, joined forces in 1999 with the intention of writing music for visual media. They each bring to the band a variety of influences and sounds borne from numerous sources and inspirations, from classical to extreme digital hardcore. The initial instrumental pieces formed the backbone of the band's soundscape and a number of visual media companies have used the band's music in their films and theme tunes. "Splintered" contains a widely varying sound and is the result of the evolution of the band from the studio to the live arena.
